Terraria Update 1.4.3 is out now for consoles and mobile, bringing the Don't Starve Together crossover content and more to PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS.

After about five "final" updates, Terraria added crossover content with Don't Starve Together back in late 2021. As always, this update came to PC first -- now, console and mobile players can enjoy all of the new content in this update.

What's New in the Terraria 1.4.3 Update on Consoles and Mobile?

The first major addition of the Terraria 1.4.3. Update is the release of the Don't Starve Together crossover content. This new content includes cosmetics, items, the new Deerclops boss, and the special Don't Starve-inspired "The Constant" world seed.

Don't Starve content aside, this update finally adds the Princess NPC to the game. The Princess is a Hardmode NPC who mostly sells cosmetic items, although she also has some other interesting goodies available under the right conditions.

This update includes content from Terraria Update 1.4.1-1.4.3, so there's even more packed in here -- the Celebrationmk10 world seed gives gamers the opportunity to explore a unique world in celebration of the game's 10th anniversary. One of the most noticeable changes is that a majority of the game world has been painted in bright, garish color, though that's far from the only major difference -- items are generally better and there are unique enemies to fight.

Also included in this big batch of new content is a vanity system overhaul, the ability to rename your character, and more; you can read about all of the changes in the full Terraria 1.4.3 Update patch notes. If you haven't yet jumped into this great sandbox Metroidvania, you can buy Terraria for PC, consoles, and mobile at prices ranging from $4.99 to $19.99 or your regional equivalent via its official website.
