Thavnair Aether Current Locations In FFXIV Endwalker - Screen Rant

Thavnair is one of the new zones introduced in the Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker expansion and players looking to traverse its lands by flight will need to attune with all the Aether Currents in the area. There are a total of ten currents that can be physically found and five more which are acquired by completing specific side quests. However, players should note that in this particular location in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, they cannot access all of the Aether Currents in Thavnair until progressing through the main story since a large portion of the map will be temporarily inaccessible.

Suppose Endwalker fans are ever having trouble locating an Aether Current. In that case, they can always use their Aether Compass, a helpful tool that players received in the Heavensward expansion for discovering the approximate distance of a nearby current. While the compass was stored in the players' Key Items inventory window in the past, Patch 6.0 has moved it to the Collections menu. Assign it to a Hotbar slot for easy access.

Thavnair's first Aether Current location in FFXIV: Endwalker can be found nearby Night's Watch around X:27.5, Y:30.9. It sits underneath a large leafy plant, close to a crag between two large boulders. The next current is located east of Akyaali, along a small ridge at X:17.9, Y:32.2. Finally, the third Aether Current is within a roofless, dilapidated building which can be found at X:12.0, Y:10.2 in the northern part of The Perfumed Rise west of The Hamsa Hatchery.

FFXIV: Endwalker - Where to Find Thavnair Aether Currents

Players can attune to another current at the top of the map at around X:20.5, Y:7.2. To access it, go up the wooden ramp to the left of the camp in Final Fantasy XIV and then go right, passing by all the scaffolding. Drop down close the water to get to the current. At X:23.3, Y:12.5, north of Pavana's Remorse, players can find another Aether Current sitting atop a rock formation. Almost immediately to the south at X:23.8, Y:14.5, a nearby current can be found floating above a pond.

To the east of The Shroud of the Samgha at X:32.4, Y:18.3, an Aether Current is suspending over some boulders. Another current at X:27.3, Y:29.9, sits directly north of the first's location, albeit on the opposite side of the map behind several broken-down logs. Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker players can find the next current in Thavnair behind the west wall of The Font of Maya at X:22.5, Y:25.1. Finally, one Aether Current overlooks a cliff at X:19.1, Y:15.6, east of The Perfumed Rise.
