'The Bachelor' 2020: How To Watch Tonight's Finale, Episode 12 ...

Just when it seems like “The Bachelor” might actually wrap up the season with a final rose, a proposal and happiness all around, the rug gets yanked out. In Monday night’s Part 1 of the two-part Season 24 finale, airline pilot Peter Weber didn’t exactly find the romance he has supposedly been looking for.

Instead, the two-hour episode saw Peter stubbornly crushing on Madison, even after his family all but insisted he dump her, and after Madison dumped Peter. Get the hint, dude.

Instead of running for the Australian hills, or showing Hannah Ann, the last bachelorette standing, that she really was the one for him, Peter looked wracked with indecision.

(How to watch “The Bachelor": “The Bachelor” season finale, Part 2, airs at 8 p.m. Tuesday on ABC. No cable or antenna? Live stream “The Bachelor” on Hulu + Live TV. You can also catch up on episodes you may have missed on Hulu.)

Which makes tonight’s Part 2 of “The Bachelor” finale either suspenseful, or irritating, depending on your point of view. We don’t know if Peter will propose to Hannah Ann, who increasingly -- and justifiably - seems pretty ticked that Peter doesn’t seem to care enough for Hannah Ann to return her vows of love.

We don’t really know what the dang deal is with Madison, either. Peter’s parents and his brother were united in pretty much telling Peter he was an idiot for being interested in Madison when Hannah Ann was perfect for him. Madison kept talking about her faith, and her determination to save herself for marriage, all of which makes us wonder why the heck she chose to come on “The Bachelor,” anyway. Has she ever seen the show?

We do know, finally, who Peter’s mom was begging him to bring home, in the clip ABC has been teasing viewers with for eons. It’s Hannah Ann, duh.

But even with Mom’s waterworks display, Peter still can’t seem to get it into his head that Madison thinks their values are too different for them to work as a couple. Like we said: get the hint, dude.

We also know what the episode description for tonight’s episode says: “Peter, Hannah Ann and Madison appear with Chris Harrison to talk about the tumultuous days in Australia and the roller coaster of events that have happened since.”

Does Peter get the hint? Does Hannah Ann get fed up and bail? Does Madison keep coming back, like the Ghost of Christmas Past? Will we see more of those adorable kangaroos from the Australian sanctuary? Are there any more pesky bugs flying around that Peter and the bachelorettes have to swat away? And how many times will the bachelorettes say “like?" As many times as Peter says, “right now?”

We’ll find out Tuesday night, as this underwhelming season of “The Bachelor” concludes.

“The Bachelor” season finale airs at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 10 on ABC; live stream on Hulu + Live TV.
