It took place in the early hours of 2 May, 1998, within the castle and on the grounds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.The battle ended with a decisive victory for the Order of The Phoenix (a secret society fighting against Lord Voldemort) with many Death Eaters and Voldemort himself dead.
