The Kar98k is one of those Call of Duty: Warzone weapons that has never lost its popularity. The good old Modern Warfare Kar is still on top of the meta, and here is our best Kar98k Setup.

Yeah, we know that DMRs are kind of a weird weapon class in Call of Duty. Less damage and range than a sniper rifle and much lower rate of fire than an assault rifle. But the Kar98k is just one of the best, if not the best gun in Warzone.

The special thing about the Modern Warfare Kar98k is that it can actually be played like a sniper. The damage to the upper body and head is the same as that caused by an HDR or AX-50 – within the effective range, of course. The range is a bit lower than regular sniper rifles, but still high enough to be usable. A single headshot with the Kar98k is enough to bring down an enemy in Warzone. The big advantage of the Kar98k is that it reloads and aims much faster than a sniper. So mobility is the big thing here.

With this setup you have probably the best sniper in Warzone:

The silencer and barrel are essential, as they both increase the range of the Kar98k significantly. As you can see in the picture, the range is almost completely maxed. The recoil is also reduced by the barrel. The stock and laser increase your speed when aiming, so quick-scopes are very much possible, and you are much more agile than with the HDR for example.

Since the Kar98k is intended to replace the sniper in your loadout, we recommend using a sight. The Sniper Scope is an excellent choice since it doesn't obstruct your sight too much and is perfectly clean.

In Warzone, this setup gives you a faster sniper that can take out enemies at a distance with one or two shots. Its main use however is to play aggressively and make the most out of its great mobility.
