Rachael Quinn539 reviews15 followersFollowFollowApril 23, 2024At this point, I have been practicing for, oh, around 25 years. Reading someone else's book of shadows is basically a curiosity/refresher process for me. I do find it very interesting to see how other people practice the craft and I am very interested in seeing other book of shadow layouts because I am always working on mine in one way or another.Nightshade's approach actually feels a lot like my own. It doesn't feel strict and particular but more like doing what feels right. I appreciate this kind of appraoch. I was kind of surprised at how much space was given to "black magic" and shadow work. I'm just not used to coming across it in the wild.I could see this book being useful to someone who is not quite a beginner but not quite ready to move on to more advanced practices, particularly someone getting ready to put together their first book of shadows. It as a quick read with a lot of info.

This book holds so much information and a variety of spells. This is a great book for baby witches wanting to learn more about the craft.

I needed a solid refresh in my practice, and I lucked out in the fact that we have similar deities and practices! A great read and you will learn something new!
