Mischievous is a playful body of work by Bathurst-based artist Yani Lenehan, celebrating the cheeky personality of the Australian magpie. These artworks present magpies not just as native birds, but as lively characters - curious, confident and full of attitude.

We’re thrilled to welcome Queensland-based painter Leisl Baker to The Corner Store Gallery for her first solo exhibition with us, Familiar Ground. Known for her expressive landscapes and distinctive sgraffito technique, Leisl captures the essence of place through both studio work and en plein air painting. In this interview, she shares the inspiration behind Familiar Ground, the role of memory and connection in her landscapes, and how painting outdoors continues to shape her practice.

This month, we’re delighted to welcome our August Guest Curator, Nadja Wallington from the award-winning ChaLou Wines. Nadja and her husband Steve craft exceptional cool-climate wines from their picturesque vineyard and cellar door just outside of Orange. As generous sponsors of our recent Mini Series Art Prize, ChaLou Wines brought not only their delicious drops to the celebration, but also their passion for creativity and community.   • How Do I Purchase Artwork?

    All available artworks can be viewed and purchased through our online store. Most pieces are also stored at The Corner Store Gallery in Orange, NSW (382 Summer Street) with some on displayed at our second exhibition space at Dirty Janes Orange.

    We accept credit card, PayPal, and Afterpay both online and in person. Additional payment options, including lay-by, payment plans, invoicing, and direct bank transfer, are available for in-person purchases.

  • Do You Offer Shipping?

    Yes, we offer Australia-wide shipping at a flat rate of $35 (excluding custom quote items). We also ship internationally with a tailored quote for each order.

    For larger, heavier, or fragile artworks, as well as international shipping, we will provide a custom shipping quote after purchase.

  • CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE AN ARTWORK?

    All sales are final. Due to the unique and one-of-a-kind nature of the artworks we sell, we do not offer returns or exchanges. Please review all artwork details carefully before making your purchase.

    If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos of the packaging and the artwork so we can assist with an insurance claim. Read our full refund policy here.

  • DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS OR LAY-BY OPTIONS?

    Yes, we offer personalised lay-by and payment plans for in-person purchases. We also accept credit card, PayPal, and Afterpay online. For more details or to set up a lay-by or payment plan, please contact Madi.

  • Can I visit the Gallery in Person?

    Yes, you can visit our main gallery at 382 Summer Street, East Orange. We’re open:

    • Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 10am to 4pm

    • Saturday: 10am to 2pm

    Some events may have extended hours - please check specific event listings for details. We also welcome appointments for private viewings; contact Madi to book.

    Our second location at Dirty Janes Orange is open 7 days a week from 8:30am to 5pm at 98 Byng Street, Orange.

    All artworks are also available to view and purchase anytime via our online shop.
