The Cycle: Frontier Final Closed Beta Is Now Live | Player.One

The final closed beta for the first-person shooter game The Cycle: Frontier has started. It’s available on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Compared to the closed beta held last year, this one has new content and features. The closed beta runs until April 4.

The Cycle: Frontier is set in the forsaken world of Fortuna III. The game offers a unique mix of PvE, PvP, and co-op multiplayer gameplay. Players drop down to the surface of the planet and try to fill their pockets with resources and treasures. Those who want to keep their spoils need to be wary and watch out for bloodthirsty beasts. Then there are those greedy who hunt and try to steal your hard-earned prizes.

Here are the features available for this last closed beta:

• New In-Match Activities
  • Fortuna III is getting even more dangerous. Call down laser drills and oil pumps to mine for resources but be ready to defend against all those coming to steal it out from under you.
• ​New Faction Campaigns
  • Three new faction campaigns guide you through your first steps on the surface.
  • Unlock valuable new gear and insight into the lore of The Cycle: Frontier.
• New Monster Variations
  • Familiar fauna returns with a few, and likely deadly, surprises.
  • New creature variations provide even greater challenges and rewards for those bold enough to take them on.
• New Map Design
  • Both Bright Sands and Crescent Falls have been revamped for better traversal and improved visuals to offer the perfect balance between Fortuna III’s danger and beauty.
• ​New Enhancements
  • Experience improved combat balance, enemy AI, loot, and tutorials. Plus visual and audio optimizations, bug fixes, and more, a result of community feedback.
