An amusement park located at Southern Thanalan, founded and managed by the master goldsmith Godbert Manderville. It has a Cactuar known as "Senor Sabotender" as the official mascot of the park. Players can participate in different minigames such as the Triple Triad, Chocobo Racing, and many more to obtain a special currency known as MGP (Manderville Gold Saucer Points), which can be used to buy exclusive rewards in the park.

— In-game description

The Gold Saucer, also known as The Manderville Gold Saucer, is the arcade mode of Final Fantasy XIV. It was first released in patch 2.51. The Gold Saucer is a game center with various mini-games such as Triple Triad and Chocobo Racing. Players will be able to earn tokens called Manderville Gold Saucer Points MGP (MGP) by participating in Gold Saucer activities. These tokens cannot be traded or sold, but they can be exchanged for Gold Saucer specific rewards. The Gold Saucer was originally from Final Fantasy VII.

Note: Airship travel to The Gold Saucer is free from any destination. In order for the player not to be trapped, return travel to Ul'dah is also free. This allows for a cost-saving shortcut to Ul'dah by round-tripping the Saucer.

Participation in the event rewards players with MGP 10,000 MGP, with a bonus MGP 50,000 MGP for scoring eighty points or more, both of which can only be acquired once per week. Continued participation in the Fashion Report also unlocks access to a range of unique items from Kasumi's boutique,

In addition, there were exclusive achievements and titles. The event is planned to periodically repeat in future unannounced dates after its initial conclusion.
