Goyard. By now, many have heard about the fashion house’s mystique but few know about the true identity of the luxury brand. Ultra exclusive and luxurious, Goyard has earned notoriety for its tote bags. The practicality and wearability of the styles are appealing now more than ever given the somewhat reality check fashion has had across the duration of the pandemic. Many have begun to question the functionality of their favorite designer items and Goyard tote bags are styles which tick all of the boxes.

Luxury brands are known for having long and storied histories dating back well over 100 years. However, Goyard’s history is rich even compared to the likes of Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior and more. It dates back to 1792(!) and the house was officially founded in 1853 and specialized in trunk-making, box-making and packing.

However, unlike its competition, Goyard has chosen to remain very low-key. The house does not advertise its products or sell online and there are surprisingly few places where you can actually purchase Goyard’s designs. But this hasn’t stopped Goyard from becoming one of the most desired brands in luxury fashion. Celebrities, fashion aficionados and style critics alike are fascinated with the house and, perhaps most notably, its tote bags.

To summarise, if you are traveling to Europe any time soon, then a Goyard purchase on the trip will save you a significant 18-20%! Top that up with the experience of shopping at the flagship store in Rue St Honoré, and you have for yourself an experience you are certain to cherish for a lifetime!

Goyard styles, are less expensive when bought in the UK too, but to a much lesser extent. However, compared to the 2020 prices, there are less saving to be had when shopping for a Goyard tote in the UK this year.
