There is a meme on Twitter right now that is best when it’s stupidest. The “imagine your card declines” tweet format asks the reader to literally imagine what would happen if their card was declined in various scenarios. In real life, not much would happen except awkwardness, a call to the bank, potentially some yelling, etc.

In Twitter life, people whose cards get declined can have everything and anything happen to them, up to and including resurrection, getting the gay put back in them at conversion camp, or having the “ear meat” shoved back into a piercing.
