In the animal kingdom, there are many, many penises. But the biggest penis of all belongs to the largest animal that has ever lived, the blue whale. The average length of a blue whale penis is 8 feet (2.4 meters) to 10 feet (3 meters), but the average diameter is only 12 inches (300 mm) to 14 inches (360 mm). By comparison, an adult elephant’s penis (the largest penis of any land animal) has an average length of 6 feet (1.8 meters).

Do you regret clicking on this article yet? If not, here’s a picture of the dried tip of a blue whale penis at the Icelandic Phallological Museum (yes, it’s a real place) in Reykjavík, Iceland. Mind you, it’s JUST the tip of the blue whale’s “Moby Dick”.

As you can see, that’s only a fraction of the penis, and it’s truly massive. The tip alone is 5.6 feet (1.7 meters) in length and 150 pounds (70 kilograms) in weight, but at full size, the penis would be 16 feet (5 meters) long and weigh roughly 770 to 990 pounds (350 to 450 kilograms). Compared to the average blue whale penis size, this particular blue whale was pretty well-hung. Do you think he bragged about it to his rivals? Puts a whole new meaning to “Thar she blows!”.
