Brief
Ooh! A treasure map!
Walkthrough
After activating the quest via the ECHO recorder in Sawtooth Cauldron, you are asked to find four clues.
Follow your map markers and kill the bandits in the target locations. Some of them carry the clues in question and will drop them after you take them out. Collect all the clues. Now you have to find the hidden switches. Note that the switches are marked on this interactive Caustic Caverns Map.
Clue 1: Under the acid-soaked railway. This switch is on one of the yellow, broken rail bridge towers in the acid lake. It's attached to the east side of the middle one.
Clue 2: In the warehouse on the shore. All the way in the northern part of the map, where you see the six-pillar formation in the Infested Warehouse, past the Rumbling Shore. Lots of Varkids there. The switch is on the wall facing the acid lake.
Clue 3: In the digger's shadow. This switch is near the western shore. It's a literal clue. Look for the giant circular digger. The switch is underneath it, in its shadow.
Clue 4: Within Dahl's bloody sixth: this part is hidden at the northern end of the first area of the map, behind an unlocked door. You have to basically run around the entire map until you get to the Nether Hive, past lots of Dahl vehicles, the large elevator, until you see the strange hive formations.
With all clues solved, you now need to access the top floor of the facility. Return to the large freight elevator, which will now be active, and ride it up to the Varkid Ramparts. Should you get killed, remember that the elevator is toward the center of the map, on the north side.
Follow the marker and pull the lever to turn in the mission and receive the Dahlminator pistol.
A loot box will rise. Loot it.
