The One About The VeeR Oculus Quest 2 Head Strap - Dennis A. Amith

For today’s VR headstrap review, I am taking a look at the VeeR Oculus Quest 2 Head Strap.

Now this headstrap is much different than others I have used in the fact that it doesn’t just snap on to the speaker arms but the arms can now slide in via these holding arms that are easily adjustable.

Also, it has another protective gear around your forehead, which most head straps do not have.

It’s much easier to install and for the most part, it’s a different design that you’ll like or dislike.

So, first let met ouch upon what I like.

As of late, I have been experiencing pain from my headset. I think maybe from tightening, it is putting pressure in the rear of my head that playing a game can make it hurt (or I’m tightening so much that I’m cutting blood flow). I don’t like my headset flopping around, nor do I like it going up and down (for example, in “Player 22 by Rezzil”, there are workouts for soccer which you have to bump the soccer ball with your head to the goal. This requires force. So having a headset tightened is important.

This is the benefit for certain types of head straps that you tighten and stay on your head. The VeeR Oculus Quest 2 Head Strap works perfectly for 100% of the games but for that 5% of games that require force from your head movement, I feel that the headstrap may come off my head. So, that’s one caveat.

BUT wearing this headset has alleviated the pain I have been experiencing because it keeps your headset on but without having to tighten so much and put pressure in the rear of your head.

A positive is how easy it is to install and use within a few minutes thanks to its slideable slot for the speaker arms. With that being said, the only caveat I found is that using this headset, there is an change with how things record. Not sure why but I’m still trying to figure it out and where the Oculus 2 Quest Mic is located.

But other than that, I am using the VeeR Oculus Quest 2 Head Strap as my primary headstrap, to prevent the head pain that I have had with my previous third party Oculust Quest 2 headstraps.
