Welcome to The Price of Wisdom page of the official IGN Wiki Guide and Walkthrough for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Here, we’ll break down everything you need to know about The Price of Wisdom, including where to find Mimir’s well and how to beat Loki.

This is the fifth quest in the Jotunheim saga and it begins to the northeast of Jotunheim. Fast travel to the synchronization point on the right of your map and head toward Mimir’s well from there. It can be found at the objective marker pictured below:

When you get there, look for the small pool of water to the left of the large tree branch. This pool is actually about 100 meters south of the actual objective marker. A cutscene will begin when you arrive.

Time for a fight with Loki.

Loki Boss Fight

Loki’s fight can be quite difficult. He doesn’t have a single weak point and he’s extremely fast. The biggest thing to look out for is his blue teleportation move. He’ll teleport all over the place, presumably to throw you off, and then dash in for a flurry of attacks. If you’re really, really good at parrying, you can probably fend him off here but for those that aren’t great at parries, use a shield to block these attacks. You can also just dodge roll out of the way.

If you have the Valkyrie jump-stomp ability unlocked, it can take down a sixth of Loki’s health. Dodge one of his attacks perfectly — you’ll know you did because time slows down for just a second — and then use this attack to guarantee it hits.

After this fight, head up to Mimir’s well and head inside. You’ll know you’ve found the well when you see the giant head of a man. Walk toward the well and a cutscene will begin.

All you need to do now is leave Jotunheim to complete this quest. This concludes the Jotunheim saga. Now it’s time to save Asgard.
