Of course, my opinion on which are the best places to buy crystals online could be disputed because I have not shopped at every online store out there, but I've been around the crystal block many a time having bought from many, many shops since my addiction collection began.

I typically don't buy crystals from eBay because either the seller is in China and I hate to wait forever to get my crystal or sometimes the reviews are sketchy. I just haven't had time to research all the sellers there.

Of course, here's the other thing about buying crystals online is that there isn't one store that will have every crystal that you're looking for. For instance, sometimes Shungite will go out of stock at one store or maybe at all of them because it's the hot crystal to have.

The places I'm sharing with you are shops that I have personally bought from, find to be reasonably priced, and would definitely buy from again. A majority of the following shops are on Etsy and while there are some stores on Etsy that are more popular I find those ones to usually be overpriced.

Before you buy online

First, many will say that you shouldn't buy your crystals online ever because you need to feel the energy - and I totally get that. But I will also say that if you don't live near a metaphysical shop then, and believe that you have to follow this rule then you won't ever get a crystal, right? It's like waiting to get gifted your first tarot deck (you'd have to drop hints like a mofo hoping someone will gift you one and then hope it's one you want. Puh-lease.

If you want a crystal and don't have a shop nearby, don't sweat it. I firmly believe that the crystal that is meant for you will find you, even if it's in a store thousands of miles away.

Second, be aware that there are some unscrupulous retailers that will sell fake, man-made or altered crystals. You can get a quick rundown on how not to get screwed when buying crystals here.

Third, some shitty sellers will use photoshop and alter the color of their crystals. I once bought a crystal based on their photo on to find that my crystal didn't look close to the photo at all. If this happens to you, return it if you don't like what you receive. This is one shitty practice that I think some sellers need to stop with.

Fourth, know what crystal you are looking for and do not look for a crystal based on what you're seeking the crystal for. For example, if you are looking for a crystal for clearing your chakras then research what crystals do that before you start shopping. Some uninformed (or shady) sellers will tell you that a certain crystal is perfect for whatever you're seeking but it's more likely a case that they are just trying to get people to find them with certain words in a search. 8. Chakra Healing Shop // I bought a Rhodonite heart (because I saw an image in it) and a Super Seven crystal that I absolutely adore.

7. Jody's Earthly Delights // I bought a beautiful smoky quartz wand from this shop. The funny story here is that I saw the wand and had to have it, so take that 'you have to buy a crystal in person' person. I use this wand when I create grids and the clarity is amazing.

6. Raven and Crone // I bought a ton of crystals from here, they were authentic, affordable (and the shipping was also reasonable), and high quality. Plus the owner is on top of it as they kept me in the loop on the order every step of the way.
