Getting the right amount of "wetness" (whether through natural vaginal lubrication or store-bought lubricant) is often a balancing act during vaginal sex. After all, the vagina lubricates during sexual excitement, but the friction that accompanies sex decreases lubrication, so it's a changing state of affairs.
If you find that there's too much wetness for her - specifically, if she finds that she no longer "feels much" during sex, and her sensation is lower, try the towel trick, one of many sex tips I share in my book Because It Feels Good. It's simple: keep a small towel, such as a hand towel, near the bed. If she gets more wet than she'd like, take a quick break from sex (i.e., pull out) and dab her and your genitals before going back in for more. When sex starts again, she should feel greater sensation and orgasm may be easier as a result.
And if she gets very, very, very wet, as some women do? And she says she feels next to nothing during sex? Some women find that inserting a tampon - even for just 30 seconds - helps to reduce their wetness to the point that sex feels more pleasurable for them when they start up again. This is not to say that wetness is bad - in fact, some research we've conducted has found that most women and men in the US prefer wet sex. However, getting that preferred level of wetness can sometimes be a challenge and these tips can help.
