Theory: Elizabeth’s death wasn’t an accident

A lot, and I mean a lot of theories assume that in the games, William Afton is distraught that his daughter is murdered. Or that either of his kids were murdered.

I disagree.In fact, especially with FNAF 6, I think William Afton intended Elizabeth to be a father-daughter duo of sorts. Why not Michael? Well, that’s possibly explained with ‘The Immortal And The Restless’, but that’s all for later.

What really put this theory off was that I wanted to replay or rewatch Sister Location, but I’ve been busy lately IRL and stressed, so for this theory I am just using transcripts.

Circus Baby’s Lines PART 1

Did you know that I was on stage once?It wasn’t for very long, only one day. What a wonderful day though. I was in a small room with balloons and a few tables. No-one sat at the tables, though. But children would run in and out. Some were afraid of me, others enjoyed my songs. Music was always coming from somewhere else. Down a hall.I would always count the children; I’m not sure why. I was always acutely aware of how many there were in the room with me. Two, then three, then two, then three, then four, then two, then none.

Circus Baby introduces to us that her programming makes her count children, and that she was only on stage for a day, at Circus Baby’s Pizza World. We can assume that this was the day referred to in the Cancelled Due To Leaks image, since Circus Baby hadn’t mentioned her old pizzeria at this point. It’s very possible that this is the AI’s perspective, as Elizabeth talking about this would be strange. Also note that the children are running in and out of the room at random numbers, as children do.

Elizabeth Afton’s Lines PART 1

Daddy, why won’t you let me play with her?Daddy, you let the other children go see her. Why won’t you let me go?Daddy just once let me go play with her. She’s so pretty and shiny. Didn’t you make her just for meee?Daddy, she can make balloons! have you seen her make balloons? Oh Daddy, let me go to her!

The first part of Elizabeth’s lines state two things. The first, is that William is preventing his daughter from seeing Circus Baby while there are other children present, so she can only see from afar or from what the other children are telling her.The second is that William has apparently told Elizabeth that ‘Circus Baby was made just for her’.This is fairly contradictory behavior if it was indeed a present.

Elizabeth Afton’s Lines PART 2

Daddy isn’t watching.Don’t tell Daddy that I’m here, I wanted to watch your show too! I don’t know why he wouldn’t let me come see you, you’re wonderful! Where did the other children go?

The second part of Elizabeth’s lines state that she notices that William ‘isn’t watching’, and goes to see Circus Baby in secret.Then notices that the other children are suddenly gone.

Circus Baby’s Lines PART 2

There were four, then three, then two…then one.Something happened when there was one. A little girl, standing by herself. I was no longer…myself; and I stopped singing. My stomach opened, and there was ice cream. I couldn’t move, at least, not until she stepped closer. There was screaming for a moment; but only for a moment. Then other children rushed in again, but they couldn’t hear her over the sounds of their own excitement.I still hear her sometimes. Why did that happen?

The children here are consistent: 4, 3, 2, 1. Almost as if the others leave as a group, leaving the girl who didn’t get called away: the one that wasn’t supposed to be here, and was sneaking in. Therefore, when the other children are called away, Elizabeth Afton is alone with Circus Baby, which triggers Circus Baby’s programming to bait Elizabeth closer and capture her.

It is at this point in time when the children are allowed back in, and Circus Baby resumes performing, with Elizabeth inside (being turned into Remnant? Who knows). Circus Baby states she can still hear her, implying again that this story is being told by the advanced AI, and not Elizabeth herself. That’s stuff only Scott can explain at this point honestly.

WHAT THIS ALL MEANS

- William Afton did indeed make Circus Baby for Elizabeth.- William Afton didn’t want Elizabeth to see Circus baby when other children were around, likely because Circus baby would continue performing.- William Afton baited children away to ensure Elizabeth was alone with Circus Baby.- William Afton made Circus Baby with the intent to capture a child, and it’s very likely that it being Elizabeth was the plan the entire time.

- After the events of everything, Circus Baby and the rest of Ennard split apart, and it’s really unclear if Elizabeth and Baby’s AI merged, or.. whats happening with that, but what is clear is that Elizabeth seems to enjoy her present.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR MICHAEL AFTON?Hell if I know, that’s for another theory entirely. It’s heavily implied that William ha sent Michael to do chores and bust Circus Baby and the other robots out, or something? That’s timeline stuff, and that means more research for me!But I do believe that Michael being scooped has one of two truths: Either William intended his son to be immortal, or he didn’t. And the shows Michael watches at night may imply the latter.
