– China:
In this country the majority of the population is Buddhist and therefore they do not celebrate Holy Week. However, the inhabitants who are Catholic can commemorate it in the respective churches.
In China, only 1% of the population has beliefs similar to American Christianity. In addition, that week is normal work and there is no recognition of special dates.

– South Korea:
In this country there are several celebrations such as: Western New Year, Samiljeol (Independence Day), Hansik (Cold Food Day), International Labor Day, Sikmokil (Arbor Day), Christmas, but they do not commemorate the Holy Week.
– Japan:
The Asian country is not Christian, and therefore Holy Week is not celebrated, but it does profess the Shinto religion, which also has celebrations.
– Viet Nam
The dominant religions in this country are: Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. For this reason, Easter and Christmas are not celebrated.
– Kazakhstan
International organizations indicate that religious freedom does not exist in this country. Christianity, beliefs and all its celebrations are prohibited.
– Mongolian
The dominant religion in this country is Tibetan Buddhism or Lamaism. A minority is Catholic and they only have three churches and a cathedral in the country’s capital.
– Uzbekistan
Uzbek customs and traditions are the oldest in the world and the most deeply rooted. From the above, practicing a different religion is prohibited. The government imposes strict controls on how the Islamic faith is practiced. Likewise, the rites and celebrations of other religions are prohibited.
