3 Dec, 2017 @ 3:00pm only for beginners. It requires skill and knowledge to play well. You have to invest quite a lot of time. And when you do that, you may become bored due to all the time spent and repeating stuff. Like most MOBAs. It is surely not for everyone. Last edited by RoofCat; 3 Dec, 2017 @ 3:03pm #3

It is surely not for everyone.Skill is not a factor here.I have 900 hours on smite (according to steam) and I would say I am REALLY good at dodging already. But: When a god comes to you and you wear some armor as ... let's say Fenrir against magic and you still get oneshoted by nearly every mage... It is just no fun and I would say it's unbalanced. In my eyes, a game is balanced when there are actual fights. When everybody survive for more than 2 hits to have the chance to further attack or retreat. But in most cases you have something like a fight in mid, one zeus comes, fires his ult and bashes all his keys he has left on his keyboard and everybody except full armor people are dead. That is just pure ♥♥♥♥. #7
Originally posted by Saty:no, that is called tactic. Considering what you do and when. What items to get. That Zeus can be killed as quickly as you and doesn't have any moves on top of that. As far as I know Zeus isn't even considered being one of the best mages now. And neither Fenrir belongs to the best asssassins.Smite has actually quite good fights. Adding just 20% sustain would make fights twice as long. The numbers are fictional, but that is roughly how it works - due to relics, ability cooldowns (escapes, cc), minion waves, escape distances, etc. You don't want 2 hour conquest games. Both players and viewers actually prefer quick, decisive action. As for modes centered around pure killing - that's what they are. CS of gods. While good Conquests go for 30..50 minutes. Do you really need more? I have seen pro teams in Conquest having just 10 kills total at 30 minutes.Maybe you are just too suicidal? If you want slow killing, play card games.
