Three Kings Parade In Gran Canaria 2022 - Times & Schedule

On the 5th of January 2025, the entire island of Gran Canaria will celebrate the visit of the three wise men: Balthasar of Arabia, Melchior of Persia and Gaspar of India. Remember also that January 6th is a bank holiday and most of the shops will be closed.

On January 6th, Spain celebrates the Epiphany or the arrival of the Three Kings from the Orient, an event which is highly anticipated by everyone, but especially by children, who receive gifts on this day (similar to Christmas day in other cultures).

The day of the Epiphany, January 6th, is a public holiday and so many businesses will be closed on this day.

However, the celebration starts a day before, on January 5th, with a highly anticipated event: the Three Kings Parade (La Cabalgata de los Reyes Magos). The kids will write letters asking for toys or other gifts and they will and these letters down to the Three Kings when they meet them before the parade.

Gran Canaria will celebrate once again the Three Kings Parade properly and everyone is waiting for this day with huge excitement, especially the kids.

MOGAN

Cabalgada de los Reyes Magos in Mogan, Puerto Rico, Arguineguin 2025

The traditional parade will be held in Arguineguín starting at 6:00 p.m.

It will be at 6:00 p.m. when the parade begins in Arguineguín, from Muelle and it will end at Pérez Galdós square. There the mayor of Mogán will receive them to give them the key to the municipality, and then they will collect the letters of wishes.

LAS PALMAS DE GRAN CANARIA

The Three Kings Parade in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 2025

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will once again celebrate the arrival of the Three Kings with an event at Muelle Sanapu, followed by a parade in the evening and a night of concerts.

• 16:30 h - Three Kings parade starting from Mercado del Puerto and ending at Parque San Telmo

Three Kings Parade in San Bartolome de Tirajana (Maspalomas, Playa del Ingles) 2025

San Bartolomé de Tirajana is preparing to welcome Their Majesties from the East in one of the most anticipated celebrations of the Christmas holidays: the Three Kings Parade 2025, which will take place on January 5.

The procession will start at 5:30 p.m. from the Yumbo Shopping Centre roundabout, on Avenida de Tirajana and Avenida de Estados Unidos, and will be accompanied by a temporary closure of the cross roads to allow the procession to pass through. This new route, explains the Councillor for Tourism, Celebrations and Events, Yilenia Vega, responds to the need for the platforms to follow a straighter route that simplifies the maneuvres, given their size, and to avoid mishaps that have sometimes occurred when maneuvring in narrower or pedestrian streets. In addition, she adds, “with this route we unify the tourist and residential areas, opening our celebration to tourists and making them part of our traditions and celebrations.”

The procession will feature a varied procession that includes four themed floats: the Disney Float, surrounded by Fairy Godmothers; the Nemo Float, decorated with marine elements such as giant jellyfish and seahorses; the Toy Story Float, accompanied by characters such as the Martians and colourful kites. The procession will end with the arrival of the Three Wise Men, each in their float, accompanied by their Royal Flag, Pages and Letter Collectors.

The procession will end its journey in Plaza de San Fernando, where the Three Wise Men will be welcomed in a very special gala, enlivened by a performance by the clown Totó. At the event, the Councillor for Celebrations and Events, Yilenia Vega, together with the Mayor of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Marco Aurelio Pérez, will hand over the magic key that will open the doors of all homes. To close the night, there will be two concerts with the artists Sr. Natilla and Los Lola, starting at 10:00 p.m.
