8 May, 2014 @ 9:00pm Who said this game takes place in the 70s? The Arkhamverse takes place in a no-year reality, and the same happens with many Batman stuff, comics, etc. #1

8 May, 2014 @ 9:06pm 70's?!?No clue where you got that idea from, but, Erhm, no. It's set in current times, but the exact years are not specified. All we know is that AO takes place approx 2 years into Batman's Career, and about 5 years before AA, then AC about a year after that, and AK approx a year after that. 9 May, 2014 @ 6:41pm (All IMO)Batman Arkhamverse uses just about all type of tech and is always present day.Batman Arkham Origins - Comic Book app1-2 MonthsBatman Arkham Origins3 months + 14 daysBatman Arkham Origins - Blackgate4-5 yearsBatman Arkham Aslyum18 monthsBatman Arkham CityThe way I see the 70s tech at GCPD is that they are all very corrupt and very little money is sent on the GCPD. Also with the dates that is 70s, I doubt any of the cops cleans the buildings. #7

9 May, 2014 @ 7:00pm Eiether way AO Is NOT Cannon. Rocksteady said it themselves. AO is WB Montreal's thing. Not Cannon With Rocksteady. Also, 20 Years. #12

9 May, 2014 @ 7:05pm @Buck - The Years I'm using are based on 5 years between AO and AA. Also 18 months passed between AA and AC. RS said about a year between AC and AK, but I'm going to wait till the game comes out to confirm it. @Robin - AO is canon, but RS isn't using anything from AO in AK. Also the fans don't know how many years past between AO and AA. I like the 5 yrs as it allows Batman it have it's own thing before godtier Superheroes shows up in the Arkhamverse. #13

9 May, 2014 @ 9:08pm Actually, the only canon is the comicbook universe, and still it changes from time to time, but if you want to make the Arkhamverse fit into the canon then Asylum is somewhere between KnightsEnd and Contagion, and Arkham City is somewhere after No Man´s Land and before Officer Down.Origins is just impossible to fit into the comicbook canon for several reasons, but I see no reason to not take it as part of the "Arkhamverse canon", as it doesn´t contradict anything we´ve seen in Asylum or City. #14

But since the more recent reboot, Batman started crime fighting roughly around 15-20 years ago.Game takes a different timeline altogether. #3

Originally posted by Eli Parker:Somebody needs to fix the wiki, AC Stories which is in Batman Arkham City states that the events of Arkham Aslyum was 18 months ago.ok fine, so a year and a half then. That is indeed ~AROUND~ a year!

So did the Fallout Series. Last edited by Buck; 9 May, 2014 @ 6:48pm #9
Originally posted by Buck:But 6 months makes a difference within the Arkhamverse timeline. Because those 6 months could make AK a Year 10 or a Year 9 tale. Again I'm looking at the timeline, because I rather see DC create these other Superheroes come after Arkham Knight within the timeline. #10Originally posted by Eli Parker:Somebody needs to fix the wiki, AC Stories which is in Batman Arkham City states that the events of Arkham Aslyum was 18 months ago.ok fine, so a year and a half then.
