Rackeluk Posted 24-08-17I've been in triage twice now for tightenings, I was resting at 20 and peaking at 80-120, they were irregular so put down to braxton hicks even though they were painful, i was allowed to go home and they haven't stopped since they started on the 9th August xx
DebbieDaisley94 Posted 24-08-17On Sunday mine were hit 80-90 every 10 minutes and I'm still waiting lol xxAdvertisement | page continues below- lLealou31 Original PosterPosted 24-08-17Ive been home for 30min but the period type pains i was having have gone from discomfort to painful and are more constant then just shooting pains. Baby ia still very active.Fingers crossed things are progressing.
Rackeluk Posted 24-08-17I think people feel them differently, I personally don't get period type pains mine start at the top of my bump and make their way down then out through my back, it just feels like someone is pushing the sides of my body inwards xx
TLoh96 Posted 24-08-17I'm in being induced and I'm having tightnings every 3 to 4 minutes that go up to about 50 odd. Apparently it's not the number though that means anything, its the pattern on the paper they look at xSee all replies (1)- lLealou31 Original PosterPosted 24-08-17TLoh96 said:I'm in being induced and I'm having tightnings every 3 to 4 minutes th…Thanks thats good to know. Mine were fairly regular but not close enough togeather. Im hoping tomorrow may be the start of something. Going to have a hot bath after dinner and bounce on my ball abit more.Good luck with your induction hun x
Lovelyle InactivePosted 24-08-17The bottom line is measuring contractions, my waters broke about 2 hours later. X

- mMaidofeireann Posted 24-08-17Wow that's a lovely CTG. Look how regular the contractions are. Jealous!!! I asked mw about this and she said the no. Isn't important. She has had some women getting over 100 every 3 mins and get on the phone. It's more how the woman feels the intensity of them combined with the frequency and regularity. Best if luck to you. Sounds promising!!!
- cCarlaB7 Posted 25-08-17Yes they are tightenings or contractions when I was in labour went up to 80 x
