Todoroki is sixteen years old; he is the son of the number two hero, of for most of the anime. He has the most tragic known background story of all the protagonists. His parents married for the sole purpose of creating the new number one hero (quirks are often hereditary, more on that in the ‘quirks tab). His quirk developed, which is half coldand half hot, (details will be given in the quirks tab) at age four of five. When it appeared his father deemed him to be perfect and had him train all day, not letting him really interact with others, including his siblings. When he was about six, his mother got upset about how much his left side looked like his father that she poured boiling water on his face leaving him with a scar over his left eye.

His tragic childhood caused him to not interact with most of the characters for a part of the series. His face is usually unreadable; his voice is also relatively monotone. Despite his upbringing there is a sweetness about him, and will drop everything to help a friend, no matter how much trouble it could get him into.

I do NOT agree with the romance part of this video, I personally think that Todoroki should be with Midoriya
