Too Hot To Handle - Who Is Still Together, And Who Split? - Digital Spy

Too Hot to Handle spoilers follow - and they're major ones, including what happens in the final episode, so you have been warned.

No matter what you make of Netflix's Too Hot to Handle, it has that sought-after quality of leaving you utterly unable to look away.

The Netflix series is a hybrid of a dating show and a self-help retreat, with the aim of transforming its contestants into more rounded individuals that are capable of opening up and building deeper, more meaningful, connections.

Obviously sex itself shouldn't be frowned-upon, but most of the people on Too Hot to Handle seemed to get something positive from the experience in the end.

Unlike other shows of a similar vein - such as Love Island and, most recently, Love Is Blind - the aim of this game wasn't necessarily to get into a couple.

But it was a nice little bonus for some of those that did form romantic connections, with two couples standing strong by the end of Too Hot to Handle: Rhonda Paul and Sharron Townsend, and Harry Jowsey and Francesca Farago.

Here's what we know:

Talk about a rollercoaster! These two may have clapped eyes on each other from day one, but the road to romance didn't exactly run smoothly for these two.

Finding it the toughest out of everyone to obey the celibacy rules in the retreat, Francesca and Harry broke them the most often and, as a result, cost the prize fund the biggest amount of dollar.

Their personal growth does need to be commended though. Francesca did not get off to the best start when it came to her friendships with the girls - or the boys, for that matter - unless you're counting her bond with Haley (which, in fairness, was largely founded on winding the rest of the group up).

But over time - special shout out to that vagina workshop - she realised that she needed to be more considerate of other people's feelings, and ended up becoming closer to the whole group as a result.

Even Chloe, who was pretty angry with her after she went on a date with her love/sex interest Kori, forgave her, after going on a journey of her own and realising that sisters should definitely come before misters.

Harry broke down some of his own barriers, including his self-confessed stubbornness. He forgave Francesca for momentarily entertaining Kelz, and was ultimately the one out of the two of them that tried to follow the rules a little more in order to invest in the full process.

All-in-all, this made Francesca and Harry more ready, as individuals, to come together and form a better bond. It's almost as if we've become Lana converts ourselves.

Francesca and Harry dropped the big L-bomb during the show, and by the final episode they were discussing moving to the same country together - because, don't forget, Francesca is from Canada, while Harry lived in Australia.

But are they still together?

As it turns out - yes!

They appeared to have a brief split after the show, but are now back together and looking towards their future.

"Francesca and I are better than ever, we took a bit of a break in between but now we are full steam ahead," Harry said. "I can't wait to start travelling and we can put some babies in her belly!"

Francesca described them as being "stronger than ever", and later added: "It was so amazing to watch our love story unfold [on the show] and I am so excited for what the future holds for the two of us!"

She confirmed their news in an Instagram post on Thursday (April 23) along with the caption: "always been you..."

Harry hasn't posted about their relationship on social media just yet.

Sharron approached Rhonda very early on in Too Hot to Handle, and a sort of lust triangle formed with the addition of David. He was interested in Rhonda too, but - awkwardly - also became best friends with Sharron.

Eventually, through Lana's workshops and a few deep chats, David stepped away and left the opening for Sharron to pursue things with Rhonda - and thankfully, she had also been hoping to make things work with him too.

These two were pretty good about following the rules. Sharron kissed Rhonda in the first few hours of being at the retreat, before the rules came into effect, but they did later end up costing the group a pretty hefty $16,000 in fines during their stay in the private suite.

Sharron was clear from the get-go that he was worried about getting hurt again after a previous relationship.

Rhonda wanted him to feel comfortable and open up to her, but that was something that he needed to figure out on his own.

Equally, she was looking for someone that complimented her (in terms of what she was looking for from a partner), and also somebody that would respect the fact she had a son.

In the end, their needs matched and they became a proper couple. In the final episode, Sharron asked Rhonda to be his girlfriend during a very romantic and fancy boat date.

Sadly, their relationship didn't work out away from the Too Hot to Handle resort.

"Rhonda has been a blessing to have in my life, she's been the strength to my weakness, the music to my soul and the yin to my yang," Sharron said. "Unfortunately distance has been an issue, and although she's miles away our connection will always be."

It seems that Rhonda has found romance though, revealing that she is now with someone else. "Sharron and I are not together," she confirmed, "but fortunately I have been able to rekindle a relationship with a special someone."

In an unexpected turn of events, it looks like two contestants from the show have grown closer since filming ended.

Bryce showed interest in Chloe when he first arrived to the retreat, but in the end she decided that the spark wasn't quite there. As for Nicole, she was one of the cast that didn't strike up any romance on the series.

"Although we did chat throughout the show, Nicole and I got much closer after filming," Bryce explained. "I think she is so beautiful and sweet and lovely. As far as our relationship stands at the moment, we're just seeing how everything plays out. Obviously we are on opposite sides of the planet, but we chat daily (when the times work out).

"Everything is very casual, and chill, with no pressure. Once quarantine ends, we can hopefully reunite and see where it goes from there!"

Nicole added, "He's a genuinely lovely guy and we are just seeing where things go without putting any pressure on anything! It's not the ideal situation when he lives halfway across the globe but we are trying to figure out how we will move forward after quarantine ends."
