Our Piercer: Peri Douglass

Our piercer Peri is a proud SC native that has been piercing for almost a decade and still loves it! Not only is she a very knowledgeable and professional piercer, but she is also adamant about quality customer service. She likes every client that meets her to feel welcomed and at ease. She prides herself on providing the “Peri experience,” which includes a personal, knowledgeable approach to piercing in which every client matters!

Important Information

Age Identification Requirements

The Virginia DPOR doesn’t specify tooth gem age minimums as it’s a fairly new practice, so our studio requires that clients must be at least 14 and up. Parent/Guardian consent and presence at procedure is required for ALL minors.

If under 18, must provide either learner’s permit, driver’s license, passport, OR the combination of both birth certificate and school photo ID. Last name or address of both Parent/Guardian and minor must match to help prove guardianship.

Age and identity requirements are complete as long as they provide all 3 requirements (Legal name, photo, and DOB) in whatever combination is verifiable, and preferably at least one form of ID is government-issued.

Medical Disclaimer

Tooth gems are expected to last anywhere between 6 months-several years, without guarantee. It is placed using a semi-permanent dental cement and UV light binder. Gems usually fall off on their own or can be removed by a dental professional. We do not remove them and we are not responsible for the removal of the gem or any residual cement that may need to be filed off by a dental professional.
