Sweet Delicious Ways to Eat Cookie Butter

I had heard of the elusive Cookie Butter but have always avoided it. My reason was I LOVE Cookies and I LOVE Butter. What would happen if they both came together. Well with all the talk and  proclamations of love for Cookie Butter, I caved. Yesterday, I walked into Trader Joes and walked out with 4 jars. That may seem like a lot but let me tell you it is not enough. Now I was not selfish and 2 of the jars were promptly mailed to Rachelle (who doesn’t have a Trader Joes near her.). I then couldn’t wait to return home and slowly peeled off the cover to the creamy variety and revealed the decadence known as Cookie Butter. 

Since we were in the car my husband,daughter and I used our fingers (Hey, don’t judge!) and quickly decided we had been missing out. My husband asked why I had never told him about this stuff before. My daughter just asked for the jar!

As we drove along we then decided to try the Crunchy. It was just as yummy and I had to fight my husband off before he finished the jar. As we drove along he asked me how are you supposed to eat it. I told him with a spoon! I got “The Look”. So when I came home I decided to come up with a list of 10 ways to eat Cookie Butter.

Top 10 Ways to Eat Cookie Butter

1. Replace your peanut butter with Cookie Butter on a PB&J.
2. Frost brownies with it.
3. Use it as the filling between layers of cake. (or as frosting)
4. Use it in place of syrup on pancakes or waffles.
5. Dip graham crackers or animal crackers into it.
6. Heat it up and drizzle over French Vanilla Ice cream (Who am I kidding any kind of ice cream will do)
7. Serve it with Apple Slices
8. Dress up Toast or Bagel for a sweet treat.
9. Heat it and serve it fondue style.
10. MY Favorite — USE A SPOON!!
