It can't

Ask Spark if they can give you an untagged connection, or choose an ISP like Bigpipe which is cheap, naked, untagged, and no contracts (and actually owned by Spark)

Not totally true. I bought an Archer c7 for use on bigpipe ufb.I know bigpipe do not use vlan tagging so that is fine for me.But while researching I found it did have vlan tagging abilities (under a section called iptv I gather) but it would not let you set the vlan tag as low as 10, which I gather ISPs use in nz. But on a forum I found out they had some beta firmware that would let you set vlan to 10. You just had to email Tp-link support. Not sure why they don't support vlan 10 out of the box. Is not not used much elsewhere in the world?

Possibly version related.

Are you running the latest software?

The c2 may not support it at all.

Sorry - wasnt trying to imply that it did.

You could sign up on the tp-link forum and ask.

That is a good idea for learning about a router!

Thanks for that.
