GlossaryTrade FixturesPersonal property placed in, or affixed to, the premises leased by a tenant that is used in connection with the tenant's business operations at the leased premises. Typically, trade fixtures remain the tenant's property even if they are affixed to the leased premises. It is common for a tenant to remove its trade fixtures before the expiration of the lease and the surrender of the leased premises to the landlord.Trade fixtures can include:
  • Refrigerators.
  • Stoves.
  • Counters.
  • Displays.
  • Signs.
