Troy Aikman Sells Dallas-area Home For $5.4 Million

NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman has sold his Dallas-area home for $5.4 million.

Built in 2007 and recently renovated, the French Normandy-style home originally came on the market in mid-November for $5.3 million and was more recently priced at $5.95 million. Aikman bought the house in 2013 for $4.25 million, according to Candy’s Dirt.

Sited on a third of an acre in the Highland Park area, the three-story residence is highlighted by a portico entry, an updated kitchen, an office/study, a home theater with a concession stand and a wine cellar. Beamed ceilings, French doors and hardwood flooring are among the interior features.

The master suite features a sitting area, custom his-and-hers closets and free-standing soaking tub for four bedrooms and six bedrooms in more than 10,700 square feet. There are four fireplaces.
