The Tulsa State Fair, held in Tulsa, Oklahoma, spans 11 days in September or October, typically beginning on the fourth Thursday after Labor Day. Attracting around 1,150,000 visitors annually, the fair traces its origins to local agricultural associations in 1890. Since its inaugural event in 1903, it has evolved from a county fair to a state fair in 1935, and today, it stands as a premier family entertainment event in the state.

Fair Highlights

The main attractions at the Tulsa State Fair are thrill rides on the Midway, agricultural exhibits in the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex, and a variety of delicious foods like corndogs and funnel cakes. Dozens of vendors and exhibit booths offer a fantastic shopping experience. Spanning about 16 acres of exposition grounds, the fair hosts numerous agricultural events and competitions.

Attractions & Activities

This year's featured attractions include Sea Lions Splash, Perondi's Stunt Dogs and Dog Diving Show, the Great American Pig Races, the Jetpack Flying Water Circus, and Disney On Ice. The SageNet Center Lower Level Stage will entertain visitors with the Inspyral Circus, a Fiddle Contest, and the Miss Tulsa State Fair Pageant.

Additional highlights include Competitive Exhibits in Photography & Arts or Culinary, as well as the Great American Petting Zoo, Chainsaw Carving, and fireworks displays on both Saturdays at approximately 8 pm.

Music

This year, Oklahoma Stage will host a powerful lineup featuring Jesse McCartney on September 27, Sam Barber on September 28, Matthew West on September 30, Jackson Dean on October 1, 38 Special on October 2, Pat Green on October 3, Sister Sledge ft. Sledgendary on October 4, and Hinder on October 5. All performances begin at 8 pm.

Tickets & Schedule

The Ticket Office operates from 10 am to 10 pm daily. The fair is generally open from 11 am to 11 pm.

Gate admission ticket prices are as follows: adults are $15, youth from 5 to 12 years are $10, seniors aged 62 and over are $10, military personnel with valid ID are $10, and children under five can enter for free. These tickets are available for purchase at the entrance gates only. Additionally, there is an opportunity to buy gate admission tickets in advance at a discounted rate of 4 tickets for $35. These advance tickets are on sale from September 1 to September 25 at area QuikTrips and the Expo Ticket Xpress located at the southwest corner of the Pavilion.

Visitors should note that tickets for all special events, including Disney On Ice, the Mega Ride Pass, and the Oklahoma Stage VIP Section, can be bought at the southwest corner of the Pavilion starting August 1 or online.

Parking & Shuttle Info

The Tulsa State Fair is conveniently located one block west of 21st Street and Yale Avenue. On-site paid parking is available in designated areas, with both cash and card payments accepted. The cost is $20.

Free shuttles are available from the TPS Education Service Center at 3027 S New Haven Ave, Tulsa, OK 74114. Shuttle parking and pick-up are located at 31st and New Haven. The shuttle operates on Fridays from 5 pm to midnight, Saturdays from 10 am to midnight, and Sundays from noon to midnight.
