Under a stadiometer who do you think would measure taller Tyson Fury or LeBron James?Editor RobMore I've seen of Fury, the greater chance I might say Lebron measures taller. Robbe said on 3/Jun/25@Canson To me it looks like Tyson is standing at his very best there. He rarely slouches in group photos. Very often he is on his tippy toes, but not this time. He is though slightly further away from the camera, maybe that's why he appears only 6'6 range there. Likely Wilkins is 6’6” flat todsy (that’s how he looked to a friend of mine who saw him few yrs back). Wilder generally looks 6’6 1/2” or around 199 in pics tho Grayloth said on 16/May/25He is probably 6’6.75” and was humble enough to add two inches. 2 meters is what he looks like. Wilder looks 6’6 to me. miko said on 16/May/25It's not completely out of the question that he might have lost a bit of height from his peak. I know he's still young but he for a number of years was carrying around serious weight, it's not impossible that it may have shaved a bit off him. Crampsy said on 14/May/25After going through loads of comparison photos and videos over the years, I think 6'7.25" might be the most realistic listing for Fury, Rob. Not a huge downgrade, but enough to better reflect how he stacks up next to other legit tall guys. When he’s face-to-face with Wilder, who’s consistently looked around 6'6.5", Fury has maybe an inch on him, give or take depending on posture. Same goes for Joe Joyce, who I believe is around 6'5.5" as listed. Fury looks about 1.5 inches taller than him in good stills where both are standing reasonably well. That lines up pretty much bang on with 6'7.25". With Wladimir Klitschko, who's somewhere between 6'5.25" and 6'5.5", there's a clear couple of inches difference, but not quite enough to justify 6'7.5" in my view. And then there's the comparison with Ngannou, who I think is 6'4" to 6'4.25". Fury has about three inches on him, but not more than that. All of this seems to point consistently to the 6'7.25" region. Also, he often slouches or wears flatter shoes, which can make him look closer to 6'6", but when he's standing tall, I think 6'7.25" is about where he'd measure. It's just that little bit more believable across the board than 6'7.5", especially when you factor in how he compares to someone like Magic Johnson, who still edged him out even when Tyson was trying to hold good posture. Appreciate you keeping the listings grounded in reality, Rob. It's always interesting seeing how these things get fine-tuned over time.Editor RobIt could turn out he measures somewhere between 7 and 7.5. Robbe said on 19/Nov/24Click Here Grayloth said on 29/Sep/24Yeah, I agree 6’6.75 or 6’7 seems the most reasonable compared to Ngannou and Momoa plus Otto Wallin. (Otto Wallin was billed 194 or 195 cm before he got famous here in Sweden.) He supposedly got billed as 6’7”. If he was 6’7.5” he would be billed as 6’8”. Compared to Joyce he is not much taller if anything so 202 cm is out of the question I would say. Jolapizza 6'0 1/2 said on 21/Apr/24He seems barely taller than Francis Ngannou in many photos. Only a 2 inches difference is visible. Reece said on 30/Nov/23Still think he is a bit taller than Vitali Kiltschko Mickie said on 30/Nov/23I think he looks a solid 6'7" with Joyce if you discount the hair. Robbe said on 30/Nov/23Joe Joyce claims 6'5.5. Here he is with Tyson Click Here It's a pretty tricky photo cause Tyson is tilting his head up, and Joyce down. That's why their eyelines differ so much. Joyce have a big head, and Tysons head is relative small for his size. Anyway, i can't see 2in difference there. More like 197cm vs 200cm. Tyson and Wilder here again with good angle. Not much difference there Click Here Mickie said on 29/Nov/23He's looked too tall next to guys like Dillian Whyte, Joe Joyce, and Deontay Wilder (such as Click Here in the ring) to be anything less than the full 6'7" to me. Even with Francis Ngannou, when they actually got in the boxing ring the difference suddenly looked bigger than it had at the press conferences. He can honestly look close to 6'8" at times. It's sort of like the opposite of what you'd expect if a fighter was a lift wearer. But there have been times he's looked shockingly short, so I struggle to place him much over 6'7". He'll look barely 6'6" way too often for me to think he could be a legit 6'8"-er let alone the billed 6'9". I could basically agree with any listing between 6'7" flat - 6'7.5" range. First, you have them in press conferences where Tyson could look 2 to 3 inches taller than Francis depending on the day. You even had them talk height in their sit down - where Tyson called Francis 6'2" when Francis mentioned himself as 6'4" and in turn Francis called Tyson 6'5" (I'm not sure if he was calling him 6'5" in relation to himself being 6'4" or whether the premise is "if I'm 6'2" than you must only be 6'5" - the latter would seem more reasonable.) Then when they get in the center of the ring and stare each other down it looked like this: Click Here Tyson looks not only easily 3" taller to me but perhaps pushing 4". This often seems to happen with Tyson, on fight day when the two finally stare each other down in the ring he comes off as taller than he did in the pressers. Leone_Fan said on 27/Nov/23Francis Ngannou called Fury out on his height saying there was no way there was a 5 inch difference. Fury is officially 6'9'' and Ngannou 6'4''. There was a difference but probably nearer 3 inches. Carl Frampton interviewing them both said the difference was far less than he expected between the two. It was funny Francis said Tyson was 6'5'' and Tyson said Francis looked 6'2''. Oklol said on 24/Nov/236'7. No more, no less! If we put Wilder 6'6 on the chart, Tyson appears 6'6.5 Click Here Current listing is too high for Tyson, there is zero chance he is only 0.25in shorter than Thor. Ben - 186cm said on 24/Sep/23It’s strange that Mamoa would guess him at 6’5 considering he claims 6’5 himself 😂 Mickie said on 20/Sep/23I think Lebron walks around taller than Fury, but I'm not sure who would actually measure taller under a stadiometer. Both are solid 6'7" guys in my view, although Fury can look more 6'6" range more often since he's a sloucher. Leone_Fan said on 20/Sep/23Fury has bad posture at times which I think makes him look shorter than he really is. I don't think he is 6'5'' as Momoa thought at first glance. OK he's not 6'9'' but about 6'7'' or just over I reckon. Wlad Klitschko guessed him as about this. Robbe said on 20/Sep/23This looks pretty decent angle Click Here Height chart Click Here Tyson looks 6'6.75 there. My guess: Thor 202,5cm Lebron 202cm Tyson 200cm Helenius 199,5cm Wilder 198,5cm AJ 197,5cm Wlad 197cm Vitali looked only hair taller than Wilder, so maybe he is 199cm. Canson said on 19/Sep/23@Robbe: I think they’d be similar or that Fury would have slight edge. Fury doesn’t have as good posture as Lebron has and footwear was more of a factor. The overriding factor was how both look next to magic Johnson. Magic had footwear advantage with Fury and when fury stood straighter it was less difference. Magic looked a hair taller than Lebron even in similar footwear. Now they could be the same or touch and go but some here are saying fury is sub 6’7 which I don’t believe. He could be 6’7 flat or 6’7.25 but no lower than the lower end of tjay and that’s his evening if so Mickie said on 18/Sep/23Admittedly this isn't the best picture as Fury was closer to the camera but in the ring Tyson looked noticeably taller than Deontay: Click Here The difference to me looked a solid inch, sometimes an inch and a half really. In that picture it looks even more but I think it's just because Tyson was closer. Robbe said on 17/Sep/23There is no good photos of Helenius and Fury. Helenius is closer to the camera in both pictures. Click Here Anyway, Momoa said he was surprised how tall Lebron James was when he met him. Lebron is max 6'7.5. What comes to Tyson, Momoa estimated him 6'5/6'6 range. So reckon Lebron is really taller than Tyson. Tyson looks 6'6.5 with Wlad Click Here 181cmguy said on 16/Sep/23@Robbe, wow I've actually not seen that pic before, Fury doesn't even seem to be standing with less posture! Fury usually looks about an inch taller than Wilder, but I guess he always had a bigger heel. Okay I think this proves that Fury is not over 6'7. I had Wilder at 6'6, he looks a very strong 6'6 in that photo. Wilder is a guy who can look anywhere from 6'5.75 to 6'6.25 to me. I'd like to see more photos of Fury and Helenius, this is the only photo I could find of them Click Here I'm still not sure Helenius is 6'6.5, but even if he is Wilder was definitely shorter(he wore thicker sneakers in their face-off). Helenius at 6'6.5 puts Joshua at 6'5.75, meaning that Fury would struggle to look more than an inch taller than Joshua! Momoa guessing him at 6'6-5 is starting to make a lot more sense now xD If Wilder and Joshua do face each other, unless one has footwear advantage, I'd be surprised to see more than half an inch between the two. Still don't believe it'll happen, and if it does I'm betting on Wilder, even though he lacks skill his desire is stronger. Just compare how he lost in his second bout with Fury to how Joshua lost his first to Ruiz. Even if Joshua manages to hurt him, I don't think he has the killer instinct Fury has to finish Deontay off. He seems much more tentative since the Ruiz fight, Wilder would be given the time to recover(I feel), and when he does he'll land a crushing right hand to Knock Joshua out! Ofc both can punch, so it could easily be a first round knockout for Joshua as well. The most surprising thing to me would be neither getting knocked out or TKO'd. Imagine if it goes to a decision and Wilder out points Joshua XD Mickie said on 16/Sep/23It ain't 2 inches when Fury stood well. I know he's raising his eye level a bit but that's at least 3 inches. Click Here Nganou might have a slight footware advantage as well. Robbe said on 16/Sep/23Tyson is slightly closer to the camera with Ngannou, so he is favored there. If we look him next to Wilder, with better angle Click Here There is about 0.75in difference Click Here I draw a white line on Tyson's tophead, and it's slightly over 6'7. But, Tyson has about 0.5in more footwear Click Here It all depends how tall Wilder is. If he is 6'6.25 like many thinks, Tyson is no more than 6'6.5. If Wilder is as listed, then Tyson is 6'6.75. At least according to that picture. Personally i believe Tyson is at best flat 6'7. Not a strong 6'7, more like a weak one. He looked definitely at least an inch shorter than 6'7.75 Thor. Sh0ckeh said on 14/Sep/23Let there be no mistake, Tyson Fury is 6'6.75 (200cm) MAX and nothing over that. There is just no chance. Look at his face off against Francis Ngannou, a known guy rangin from 6'4.25 - 6'4.75 (194-195cm) tall guy. Look here, face off between fury and francis ngannou (Several angles) Click Here Click Here Click Here (similar footwear) After looking at those, tell me how can you honestly believe he is anything over 6'7? He looks 1.5 inches taller than Francis, and that's a max. They have similar footwear on as well that day. Can you honestly see more than a 2 inch difference in their height? I sure can't. I see 1.5 inches, and that's honestly being nice. After this I gotta give Fury 6'6.75 (200cm) max. Sorry I’m getting a bit off topic on the Tyson Fury page, it’s just that a lot of MMA fans out there honestly seem to be convinced that Pereira is 6’6” or something when he’s really just a legit 6’4”. I agree that Tyson is tilting his chin up yes, but it's really not by much imo. I do think the low angle of the photo is favoring Jake to look taller as he is the shorter guy and his head is a bit closer to the camera, in a more neutral angle I think Jake falls under Tyson's mouth level. Now I do agree in the video you shared Tyson does not look nearly as tall as that next to Jake. I think there's enough proof that Tyson is a good 6'7" when he stands well. If I had to pick which was more likely, Jake being taller than the 5'10.5" - 5'11" range or Tyson standing very loose and looking shorter than 6'7", I suspect the latter. Tyson stands poorly a lot and he also tends to wear thin soled shoes a lot, so it's easy to find examples of him looking 6'6". But I think given that he had at least an inch on Wilder in the boxing ring, as well as at least 2 inches on Klitschko and Otto Wallin, and at least 5 inches on Dillian Whyte - I do think he's a good 6'7". I thought Jake looked a fraction of an inch shorter than Tyson's younger half brother Tommy in the ring, although you can find examples of them outside of the ring where the reverse looks true. Saying something like 5'10 max for Jake I would consider downgrading but considering lots of people put him in that range and he has looked it many times, it's not an exactly unreasonable estimation imo. He could be anywhere within the 5'10 1/2 - 5'11 1/4 range but I feel closer to 179cm, not quite 5'11, is accurate for him. The 6'0 and 5'10 max guesses are what one could consider unrealistic. Also, considering how he looks under Tyson Fury's mouth level in Mickie's photo (excluding his curly hair which tends to confuse some people) I would say Jake looks a weak 5'11 there to be honest ... Mickie said on 3/Mar/23You can debate whether he looks 5'10.5" or a strong 5'11" in that photo, I think you have to remember the angle favors Jake when taking everything into account and that's fine. Say you think. And you also don’t know what type of posture Fury would have or what type of footwear. There is a reason why Rob, the site master, lists fury and Magic at the same height. He was at a posture disadvantage with magic and had less footwear. And look at Mickie’s pics below with he and Melo. So is Melo 6’9 now? No. I’ve met Melo before as I’ve said many times, and he has at most 2” on me and I’m a strong 6’4”. Melo is as listed. All Mickie did was illustrate how LeBron can also look 6’6”. We all know LeBron is taller than Melo. As for Momoa, his estimating of height is not credible when he guessed fury at 6’5-6’6 range. Fury has poor posture with him while LeBron’s is perfect. LeBron also has a thicker sneaker which he wears most of the time in pics. His sneaks add at least 3.5 cm which is more than the average basketball sneaker. I just showed you the picture of LeBron with Anthony Davis which should tell you how tall LeBron actually is. Rob himself even estimated that it’s at minimum a 2.5” difference between them. So if you’re saying LeBron is 1” taller than Fury, it means Fury is 6’6.25” which isn’t the case when fury is clearly a bit taller than Melo and an inch taller than Wilder Click Here Look at the pic below with Fury and Tyson Chandler. Sort of like how Magic is favored in the pics with Fury. Pierre said on 29/Sep/22Robbe said on 29/Sep/22 To me AJ's height a bit overestimated is a real possibility = Wlad was listed 6'4.75" in 1996 at Olympics Games and lots of time AJ looks max same height as him = Click Here Click Here Click Here Click Here Parker said on 28/Sep/2 @Parker = Fact is by my comparisons Joe Joyce is hardly the height you claim for him ... Also, Joyce could be closer to 6'6, he looks like 3in taller than Parker there. Wilder looked shorter than Joyce in photo posted on Wilder's page, but that can't be the case. Wilder has less footwear, and is leaning on Joyce. That wasn't a good picture. P.S. That supposed 7'1 guy with 5'9.5 Bill Gates, compared to Suotamo and Whyte with 5'10 guy. Mickie said on 26/Sep/22No tip toes here next to Joe Joyce: Click Here I believe Joe Joyce is a legitimate 6'5.5". Fury looks an easy 6'7" there, if not 7.5. Is anybody (aside from Pierre who will probably claim Joyce is under 6'5" and Fury is forcing his posture or something) really going to say that's either not true, or that Fury is somehow advantaged in that photo? Mickie said on 25/Sep/22Yeah Fury is actually only up on one foot there, seemingly, which doesn't give him nearly as much height as tip toeing with two feet (as Pierre undoubtedly thinks). Although the ground doesn't look level there either. Not the best comparison pic of course but I'd be surprised if Tyson measured shorter than that Campbell guy based on how they look in that one pic. JD1996 said on 25/Sep/22I’m going to throw another spanner in the works here. Mickie said on 24/Sep/22I didn't think Sharapova was slouching significantly but Murray did tilt his head. And what goes to David Haye, he is further away from the camera, just look at their head sizes. Even in my pic, Bill Gates is slouching, and yet that guy appear no more than 6'10. And finally, why was he turned down for playing Chewbacca, if he is more than 6'11? They said he is too short, and ended up hireing 6'11 Suotamo? It doesn't make any sense. Arie Dekker also audiotioned for the role, and was turned down. He is only 0.5cm shorter than Joonas. If that supposed 7'1 guy is really taller than Joonas, he would have casted i believe. But anyway, Tyson looks easy 6'7 with that guy, weather he is 6'10 or 6'11. Leighton Tang said on 19/Sep/22@Pierre Lol, you choose the worst possible pictures for your comparisons. Mickie said on 18/Sep/22@Robbe - there's a chance you may be right about him being 6'10", of course I don't know for sure, but he definitely looks taller than that next to Sharapova. I'd say he looks 6'11" minimum there if not a bit more than that. Leighton Tang said on 18/Sep/22@Mickie Pierre's probably going to say something like. "Maria Sharapova is 6'0 and Andy Murray is 6'0.5 or floor/footwear is uneven" but given how many celebrities Lydon Sutcliffe has met (Rafael Nadal, Holly Willoughby, Cliff Richard, Richard Branson, Jonathan Ross, Tim Henman, Andre Agassi, Noel Foelding, Lleyton Hewitt, Rory McIlroy, David Haye, Boris Becker, Tony Hadley, John McEnroe and Bill Gates) it's a far safer bet to say that he is at least 6'11 than say every single celebrity I listed is below their listings. And Tyson is only 4 inches shorter than him, so he's at least 6'7. JD1996 said on 17/Sep/22@mickie he looks like he has a good 10 inches on david haye who is listed 6’2” by big Rob so I would say he’s right around 7 foot, no offence 6 foot 9 is rubbish for him. Tyson appears 6'6.5 on the chart, and he is easily dropping 0.5in there, so he is not under 6'7 according to this chart. No big difference on their shoes either Click Here 6'10 is a bit too low for Chewie, so no wonder he was turned down.. Article says this girl is 5'1 Click Here That supposed 7'1 guy also auditioned to play Chewie, but was turned down cause he was too short. Click Here Big question is, how come 6'11 Joonas Suotamo got the role? Joonas said he was measured from head to toe, and movie bosses said "your tall enough to play Chewie". And that 7'1 guy wasn't? So, that supposed 7'1 guy must be shorter than Joonas. He is probably 6'9 /6'10 range. 7'1 is just absurd. Robbe said on 20/Aug/22Just the thought that one person is right, and all the others are wrong, including the siteowner, is just absurd. There are like tons of evidence Wilder can't be under 6'6. Just look how he appears next to legit 6'7 Vitali, there is less than 0.5in difference. I have posted a pic with perfect angle, if you care to look. Also, here is Wilder next to 6'2 Luis Ortiz. You don't even need any height charts to see he is not under 6'6 Click Here Well, here it is anyway Click Here Wilder seems to be "breaking his back" there, like a certain user tends to say, when he is not happy with Wilder's appearance, so you can add an extra inch there 😁 😁 😁 Ortiz is listed at 6'4 but he is not that tall, but he is not under 6'2 either. Pierre said on 20/Aug/22Leighton Tang said on 19/Aug/22 Sorry by Shaq Deontay is under 6'6",on the scale posted recently by Robbe he's standing closer to the camera than Shaq,so logically a bit advantaged by the scale, but only the top of his glasses stands very timidly at the 6'6" mark.Plus the internaut made a scale with Shaq being 7'0.25",while Shaq himself claimed recently he's under 7'0" (and you can see by the pic I posted recently than Dikembé Mutombo listed 7'1.25" is easily more than 1.25 inch taller than him,Dikembe in recent pics looking himself max same height as Kareem-weak 7'2" peak- in his 70s in the pics...) Wlad = Lots of pics like the pics I posted recently with guys face off on regular floor and similar postures are showing Wlad isn't looking even a complete inch shorter than Tyson sometimes (Not this pics with Wlad /Tyson standing on a grass whose regularity is more than doubtful plus Wlad wearing all this trophies and very probably droping height). Also in his youth Wlad was described like 6'4.75" and not 6'5.25" at Olympics 1996 here at around 1:27 = Click Here .The pics Wlad/ Tyson Fury were made minimum in 2015 in his 40s so around two decades later,With a big sporting career like Wlad's career with diets hard training etc(68 fights before he met Tyson) he very possibly lost a bit height by the years... David Price is maybe himself not even really 6'8" but of course if you determine David Price's height by comparing him next to a supposed 6'7.5" Tyson then he's no less than 6'8" ....Also if I have good memory in each pic Tyson stands closer to the camera than David. If I have good memory Jason Momoa himself guess Tyson max 6'6" after met him ...But of course by refering to "cherry" pics some internauts posted here with Tyson streching up a lot while Jason is standing in classic posture you can argue 6'7.5" like here = Click Here but here the difference is clearly slimer = Click Here .Also Jason probably isn't exactly 6'4",he wears an advantageous cap next to Rob,in the video next to Jenny and next to a 5'10" guy the scales each time is showing clearly less than the 6'4" mark.(The average guess is giving him a bit under 6'4" too).
