WEMBLEY — Tyson Fury has weighed in almost a stone lighter for his WBC heavyweight title defence against Dillian Whyte than for his last fight with Deontay Wilder.
After the finale of that trilogy, for which Fury weighed a career-heaviest 277lbs, he has dropped down to 264lbs, 13oz.
Whyte, greeted by a hostile reception at Wembley Boxpark, weighed in at 253lbs, 4oz.
“You know what? You guys are f___ing unbelievable,” Fury told the crowd. “I’m so happy to be back here, fighting at Wembley Stadium, and you people made it happen – each and every one of you.

“Respect to Dillian Whyte and his team, proper professional men. Don’t doubt us, we’re gonna put a show on like no other before.
“It’s gonna be a war, don’t worry about that.”
There was plenty of respect on show too, as the pair danced by the scales and hugged before parting ways for the final time before Saturday night.
Fury’s weight is his lightest for three years, though that will come as little surprise after a gruelling camp and additional work with nutritionists.
During his three-year hiatus, during which he dealt with mental health issues and substance abuse, he says he reached 400lbs but slimmed down to 19st 10lb – 12lbs heavier than he is now – for his comeback against friend and promoter Sefer Seferi in 2018.

Meanwhile tensions also looked to have cooled between John Fury and Whyte’s father Dean ahead of Saturday night’s heavyweight showdown.
The pair clashed at Wednesday’s press conference but were seen shadow boxing at Friday’s final event of fight week.
Fury’s father John has told i that his son was so talented that he will be talked about for the next 500 years, just like Martin Luther King.
It comes after Fury disowned Daniel Kinahan, the alleged crime boss who ran the boxer’s former management company and received over £3m in consultancy fees from Fury’s American promoter Bob Arum, on Sky News.
