When you receive your DogTrac ID Tag or Key Recovery Tag you must activate it. Simply type the 7 or 8 character code into the box and click activate. You will then need to enter your details so you can be contacted if your pet or keys are lost.

Activate Update Your Details

My pet is microchipped and registered on the Microchip Central database. I need to update my details on my pet's microchip.

If your pet is already microchipped and registered on the Microchip Central database, you can update the details on your account. This means you can change your address should you move, or update your phone number or email address. You can also make changes to your pet's details such as changing the name, or updating your vets or insurance details.

If you have previously had an upgraded account (premium protection) then updating your details will be free. If you have never had premium protection then you will be required to upgrade for a small one-time fee to make changes to your account.
