Two of the three Mortal Instruments is missing and everyone is looking out for the last one called The Mortal Mirror. Clary and Jace need to hurry up before the Mortal Mirror falls into enemy hands. The promo trailer for "Shadowhunters" Season 2, Episode 17 explores what is in store in "A Dark Reflection."

"Shadowhunters" Season 2, Episode 17 Official Synopsis: "With two of the three Mortal Instruments missing, everyone is on the hunt for the last one - The Mortal Mirror. Jace and Clary are on the hunt to recover it first before it could fall into enemy hands," reads the official synopsis. During the episode, Clary learns that her brother Jonathan may be closer. Elsewhere, Isabelle cannot believe her little brother is growing up so fast. Can Jace and Clary find the Mortal Mirror before the villains get their hands on it? We will learn in the new episode.

Meanwhile, director Paul Wesley spoke with TV Guide about Jace and Clary's intense scenes in Season 2 and how they approach filming them. Wesley stated that in terms of the supernatural genre, things are quite big when it comes to the elements. They have special effects, green screen, CGI, and portal to take care of and when it is about emotion, he tries to tone it down. Wesley mentioned that is the direction they were asked to head.
