Hi,

I own an apc smc1500c for almost a year now. after a power outage i'n getting the error code b.04(see image). I check the manual and went to their website and even googled it, but there is index or description for error codes.

The issue is since I got this error code, the ups is not supplying my devices(pc, monitor, printer, etc).

Can someone tell me what this code means?

I'd say it's a dead/dying battery. I'd replace the battery.

EDIT: Are there logs on the UPS? Does it have multiple internal batteries?

Late reply, but I had the exact same issue new out of the box. B04 indicates a problem with the internal battery charger per the tech I was working with. They're sending me a new one...
