Big Waves Inc has been giving out free cable-style gun locks. Please watch the video or read the step-by-step instructions below to learn how to use your gun lock on a shotgun easily.

Please note: Before getting started, please be sure to follow all gun safety guidelines.

  Step 1

  Make sure your shotgun is unloaded. Open the action. Visually inspect the shotgun to ensure there are no rounds in the chamber.

  Step 2

  Unlock your gun lock. Feed the cable through the loading port and ejection port. Feed the cable back into the lock.

• 

  Step 3

  Lock your gun lock. It’s good practice to safely store your key separately from your gun and ammunition.
