Val Kilmer Net Worth Revealed In Amazon Prime Documentary

Val Kilmer net worth is a popular search term on Google and the brand new Amazon documentary gives us a little insight into this sought after question.

Fans were quick to see how much Val Kilmer was worth after the documentary dives into his most rewarding roles including achievements and of course the salaries received.

His first big money break was a role in Top Gun back in 1986 alongside Tom Cruise.

But it was Batman where Kilmer gained his financial wings as the 1995 movie Batman Forever scooped around $335.5 million globally at the box office and the film has made much more since then solidifying itself in cult icon status.

Val scooped up a tasty $7 million paycheque to play Batman before making the same again for The Saint in 1997 and $6 million for The Island of Dr. Moreau.

The late ’90s was a great time for Kilmer as he was voted in and around the highest-paid actors in that time period.

As of writing this Val Kilmer net worth is said to be around the $25.30 million mark based on a standard Google search.

They usually over-estimate just about every celebrity you type in so take this figure with a pinch of salt. A rough ballpark figure if you will.

As far as the documentary goes our very own Nick Clement checked it out and gave us the following review:

Val Amazon Prime

Forty years of never-before-seen footage chronicling the life of Val Kilmer.

This is as good as a one-sided documentary can get, completely in love with itself by design, and deeply introspective in ways that you don’t normally see when it comes to celebrities looking at their life under a video microscope.

Val Kilmer has always been a mysterious, enigmatic screen presence, a gorgeous man in his primal youth, with a smoky, velvety voice that added to his allure.

The roles he chose, especially in The Doors, Tombstone, The Salton Sea, and Wonderland, pushed him to the brink of possession-as-acting, and when he played around in the big budget blockbuster arena, he brought something mischievous to the proceedings.

He’s of course iconic in Top Gun, and was low-key great in Thunderheart. So many cool, offbeat, and challenging roles, while always bringing something distinctive to the table.

So, this documentary is all the more upsetting to bear witness to because of how degraded Kilmer has gotten on a physical level.

He doesn’t look anything like the Val Kilmer we’ve all come to know, and he’s been reduced to having to communicate through a voice box.

For an actor, this is essentially a death sentence, as he makes very clear. He’s very much aware of his reputation, and even admits that he didn’t help himself out in ways he might otherwise have.

But at the same time, he explicitly states that he’s got zero regrets about anything, which is of course fascinating to ponder given how much he angered certain people through his behavior and attitude.

Currently streaming on Amazon Prime at no additional rental cost fee, and worth it alone for the vintage footage of Tony Scott and John Frankenheimer doing their on-set thing.
