Verdansk is the original Battle Royale map for Call of Duty: Warzone. It was released on March 10, 2020, as part of the free content included in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season Two.

UPDATE: Verdansk returns to the battle royale Warzone on April 3, 2025, alongside Season 3 of Call of Duty Black Ops 6!

The original Call of Duty Warzone Battle Royale experience returns as Verdansk arrives in Season 03! This is a return to the game's initial Battle Royale roots, with back-to-basics gameplay, an authentic rebuilding of the Big Map, along with an impressive number of quality-of-life improvements, including:

Verdansk Map Layout 2025:

Here's the 2025 map layout for Warzone Verdansk, which, as you can see, closely resembles the original. This version is a 95% faithful reconstruction of the 2020 Verdansk, with roughly 5% of the landscape featuring minor adjustments and quality-of-life improvements.
