However, we do have some rough idea of one those questions that may have cropped up as a result of the big fight: how much to ring girls make?

Ring girls are those women, politely described as "photogenic" over some of the sleazier terms, who hold up cards to indicate which round the match is up to.

It seems like a reasonably cruisey gig, as far as jobs go, but there's a fair bit of exposure that comes into the equation.

So how much are the women paid?

It's not entirely known for sure, but a report from KGB Answers in June indicates Arianny Celeste, a top paid UFC model, pockets somewhere along the lines of $125,881 annually from the gig.

Celeste's net worth is an estimated $1 million, however that's a culmination of her ring girl duties and other modelling gigs.

And after winning the Ring Girl of the Year award a couple of times, she's pretty much at the top of her game.

As for your general ring girls, the annual salary estimates vary.

A report from Jobsnhire suggests UFC ring girls are believed to get up to $25,000 annually, while SimplyHired reckons the average salary for ring girl jobs is $57,000.

However these roles are for ring girls in the US, where the sport is much more prominent.

We're unable to find exact stats for the Aussie equivalent, but we did find one ad offering to pay a beginner ring girl $150 for roughly five hours' work.

BONUS: And we're talking about ring girls we'll just mentation that the girl from The Ring, Daveigh Chase, has an estimated net worth of at least $2 million.
