Some snakes can, on rare occasions, end up eating themselves. Scientists say snakes that eat other snakes may mistake their own tails as that of a prey, and once they begin swallowing their tails, they have perhaps no way of knowing that they are eating themselves. Some experts even say that snakes mostly do this when they are really stressed. But if not helped, the snake can die as its own digestive juices begin digesting the snake's tissues that have been swallowed. In this video, a man, can be seen applying some hand sanitizer to the snake's mouth, and it immediately regurgitates its own tail. However, the truth about the claim can't be verified. It is advisable to approach experts when faced with this situation.

Presenting the Union Budget 2026 in Parliament, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman outlined key steps to strengthen India’s banking system and deepen financial markets. She announced structural reforms in banks and NBFCs, along with measures to expand corporate and municipal bond markets and improve access to credit for small businesses.
