Vitamins, Made In China Or?

The other night I was watching NTD New, China Focus, to see about the flooding going on in China. (a relief from watching the fake news of America). One of the articles, though quick, was on GNC.

GNC (General Nutrition Centers), as most of you know, filed for bankruptcy and has closed around 1,000 of their total (worldwide) stores, stores numbering over 6,600. What you did not know and what you do not see in the U.S. papers in that the largest loan holder of GNC is Harbin Pharmaceutical of Harbin, China, which is owned by the Chinese Communist Government.

Immediately sensors went off in my brain, not much left, but what there is left, they went off. How many of the vitamins that we Americans take are made in China? It is hard to answer, it is estimated over 95 percent of all Vitamin C is made in China.

Go through a store that sells vitamins and look to see where they are made. Most of Walmart’s brand is from China. For the most part, Walmart does tell you on the bottle. But several so-called American vitamin companies say distributed in the United States by whatever the brand name. Only around two percent of all vitamins imported are inspected because they are classified as a food.

But let us forget all of that. How easy would it be for the Chinese government to slip some kind of germ, mutation into our vitamins to make us sick, or to make the vitamin we thought might be helping us worthless. How easy is it for the Chinese Communist Government to control our lives by "their" vitamins?

Think about it, think about what vitamins you take and where they are made. I emailed several of the larger vitamin companies in America and I have not heard back from the first one. That is not to say they will not answer, but I do not look forward with great anticipation that they will. Let us swallow our poison as we cheer COVID-19, from where? Can you imagine, China?
