IGN's SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech complete strategy guide and walkthrough will lead you through every step of SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech from the title screen to the final credits, including every location, item, boss strategy and more.

The campaign is a story involving some unlikely heroes. Who keep discovering strange situations occurring in their home. It all starts with a simple Mushroom Hunt, develops into a search/rescue, discover a dastardly plot, and like every good fantasy tale, conclude by having to save the world!

Walkthrough

Like the game, our Walkthrough is separated in pages by chapters. Each pages contains a map of that area. The walkthroughs are designed to provide you with every treasure chest location to receive a 100% rating at the end of each chapter. Each Area in the map is labeled so you can follow along!

Because the game can be customized so much with different cards, accessories, and heroes, we provide tips and provide Deck suggestions that are optimized for each chapter. This game can be played in a variety of styles. If you have your own suggestions for Decks in a chapter, feel free to share it in the comments!

Extras

Colosseum of the Cursed

This place is unlocked after completing chapter thirteen. The Colosseum features challenge battles and offers special rewards for completing each one.

Punch Card Battles

SteamWorld Quest, uses turn-based combat for it’s battles. You’ll select actions using a hand of randomly drawn Punch Cards from your deck. You can select up to three actions each turn. Finish your turn by pressing Y. This allow you, as well as your opponent, to perform the selected actions. Battles are fought in this format until the opponent or all your heroes are scrapped (lose all HP). Each Hero has their own deck of unique cards. Discover, craft, and upgrade cards as you explore different areas.

Weapons and Items

Heroes can be enhanced with Accessory Items. These can do a variety of things like boost stats or provide helpful status effects. You'l discover Accessories and Weapons inside chest and by visiting the Merchant.

Know Your Enemy

SteamWorld Quest features a variety of enemies and monsters to combat with. Each has their own type of specialties. Many can even have weakness or resistance to certain types of attacks. In battle, you can press + to view the enemy details.
