This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4 Trophies. Stage 1 – Understanding the game.

WarTile has a lot of options, which you won’t notice at first. Below are all pre-battle options explained. Please refer to the map below to see what is what.

1. The Campaign Map

You can select Battleboards here. When selecting a Battleboard, you will notice a few things.Marked Red / PinkA Battleboard can actually have multiple levels. In the screenshot below, it has 2 levels. Behind each level you see a bunch of numbers. You will be able to replay a Battleboard on a higher difficulty to earn better rewards. The numbers indicate how hard the Battleboard is. Make sure to match these numbers up against your reputation level (marked pink). If your number is higher, the mission will be easier. If your number is lower, the Battleboard will be harder.Marked BlueThese are the objectives for this Battleboard. You can also view them ingame by pressing the touchpad. Marked YellowThese are the rewards for this Battleboard, if you complete it successfully. rewards can be new characters, ability cards and items. You will always get gold and experience for completing a Battleboard.

2. Tavern / CharactersUsed for buying new figurines upon unlocking them by completing Battleboards. You will unlock new characters when completing the following missions:1. Lost Norse – Jorim Radningar. 2. Dark Forest – Ylva.3. Heidrun Clan – Thorhild. 4. The Rescue – Ivor Bonecrusher.That brings the total amount of characters to 6, each with their own benefits.

Hakon Goldenmane	Warrior	Fights with a sword. Can stun enemies with his shield (ability card).
Asgar Legbiter	Spearman	Can hit enemies from a distance (2).
Jorim Radningar	Warrior	His ability cards are focused towards a tank build.
Ylva	Warrior	Fights together with her crow (pet). Can taunt & curse enemies with her ability cards.
Thorhild	Archer	Can hit enemies from a distance (5). Attacks need to be manually done by using ability cards.
Ivor Bonecrusher	Barbarian	High damage, low health/armor.

3. CustomizationUpgrade your figurines, customize their equipment and choose their ability card.In picture 1, you can equip new items to your figurine. Comparison is possible to see which item is better.In picture 2, you will be able to equip tokens. The dots underneath them indicate how many tokens you have. with each level your figurine gains. You can equip a new token (total of 5), and you will also be able to equip a unique token with a great ability. In picture 3 you are able to select an ability card for your figurine.

4. Card managerSet up your deck of godly and tactical cards to bring into battle.These cards can be activated during a Battleboard to give you an extra boost. Each card uses an amount of Battlepoints, as seen on the top left. The cards you want to use are different for each Battleboard. General good cards are:Touch of Eir (Heals a figurine for 30).Warhorn – Buffs your figurines.Pilgrim’s Madness – Let enemies attack each other.King’s Favor – Summons an NPC that will fight for you.

5. MerchantThe merchant will have new items every time you complete a battleboard. Make sure to check here after each Battleboard to sell your unused items, and buy better items to upgrade your figurines. A few items will have unique abilities, like the”Skull of Hel”. Make sure to use the ones that match your play style.

Overlay (Picture 1)When you press the touch button on your controller, you will get an overlay (This will also pause the game). Here you can see the following:Marked RedControls: X to move, Triangle to move the whole team, Circle to slow time, Square to pick up an item. R2 + RS to move the camera. Can come in handy to scout upcoming areas (without moving your figurines). Marked YellowBattlepoints. Can be spent on ability cards. Earned by defeating enemies.Blue ArrowMain quest that must be completed.Red ArrowOptional quest. Can be completed for extra rewards.Ingame menu (Picture 2)While playing the game, you will also have a menu that will offer you lots of information. Marked RedYour Character stats. Name, level, Health, amount of steps it can walk, damage. Marked YellowBattlepoints. Can be spent on ability cards. Earned by defeating enemies.Marked BlueAbility cards. Can boost your figurines. They cost battlepoints to be used.Purple ArrowHealth of the figurine. Quick way of viewing its current health.

Stage 2 – Road to Platinum.

The trophies for WarTile are straightforward. You will earn a trophy for each Battleboard you complete. There are also a few miscellaneous trophies, which are listed below.Look out for:Frog Stomp – Use Hex and step on the transformed frog.Hero of Old – Get a Figurine to level 5. Can be farmed by replaying levels.Norse Funeral – Burn a tower with a figurine inside.shh… They Can’t Hear Us – Complete the Rescue Battleboard without sounding the alarm.Should come along the way:The Warband – Buy all figurines in the game at the tavern.Odin’s Champion – Kill 100 enemies.The Merchant – Buy an item.The Penny Pincher – Sell an item.
