In his Netflix documentary, Shawn Mendes: In Wonder, the condo interiors are briefly shown and Mendes says the landscape outside is “the best view” he’s seen in the city.

The building was constructed in 2011 and the unit sold to its first owner in October that year for $962,000, according to the video. Mendes purchased the property in July 2017 for $1.75 million, with approximately $1,114 in monthly condo fees, which cover general maintenance of the building, security and his two heated underground parking spaces.

The home comes with 750-square-feet of outdoor terrace space overlooking the downtown core, with stunning views of the CN Tower.

The condo building also boasts a comfortable lounge area “which I’m sure Shawn never uses,” says the video narrator, as well as a private gym down the hall.

One bedroom in Mendes’ condo has direct access to the terrace and has a “decent-sized closet,” according to the narrator.

The kitchen, as in most condos, isn’t massive, but will “get the job done for what Shawn and (girlfriend singer) Camila (Cabello) will need,” he adds. It features granite stone countertops with dark wood-grain cabinets. Even the inbuilt refrigerator camouflages itself with the cabinets.

The dining room can fit a six-person dinner table, complete with chandelier, with plenty of room to move around.

The living room has floor-to-ceiling windows. One bedroom is considered a guest bedroom with windows facing the Rogers Centre. Adjacent to it is the master bedroom, also with floor-to-ceiling windows. Its bathroom contains dual vanities and a massive soaker tub for “Shawn to relax in after a long show,” says the narrator, as well as a shower with a rainfall showerhead.

Next to it is a walk-in closet and besides that is the second three-piece bathroom with a shower. There is also a small laundry room that could double as storage space.

Not too shabby a place to hole up during Ontario’s stay-at-home orders.
