It seems that not all is hidden in 'incognito mode'

What you browse on your laptop or PC is completely your business - but it appears Google Chrome knows all.

Many web surfers will use the browser's handy 'incognito mode' to hide their browsing history from prying eyes.

But if you regularly use the feature - such as to browse the naughtier corners of the internet - Google has a little message for you, Mirror Online reports.

It appears after opening 100 incognito tabs and replaces the tab counter in the top right-hand corner.

Usually you'd see a smily face emoji if you were using regular, vanilla chrome.

But because you're being incognito, you get a cheeky winking face.

The internet browser might not store your history - but it's got a good idea what you're up to.

Amusingly, the little smiley only appears on the Android version of Chrome. There's no such judgement for iOS users.
