Water hammer arrestors are used to absorb the shock when water flowing in a piping system suddenly stops due to fast closing shutoff valves, dishwashers, and clothes washers. This action protects against annoying and potentially damaging effects of water hammer. We have models for residential and commercial applications. There are two types of water hammer arrestors, namely:

1) Piston Type - Piston constructed with copper tube with a piston internally that seals with O-rings above the piston is the head of air and below of the piston are connected to the water line. When the shockwaves moves through, it compresses with the air inside of the water hammer arrestor, stopping that shock.
