Welcome to the Wauconda Moose Lodge!

The Wauconda Moose Lodge is a part of Moose International, the Family Fraternity that supports the children at MooseHeart and the Seniors at MooseHaven. We encourage members, their families and their guests to come out to the lodge and join in the many things we have to offer.

As of May 1, 2021, we have a unified Moose membership called ONE MOOSE, where all members, male and female, have equal opportunities, rights and privileges within the Lodge. We are excited about this change and the ability to work together to create a better future.

Check out our website or Facebook Page for more information about us, and stop in the lodge for warm friendly camaraderie!

What is the Moose?

The Moose is a fraternal and service organization founded in 1888. With a combined membership of over 1,000,000 members in the Loyal Order of Moose and Women of the Moose, our presence is felt in over 1,500 communities across all 50 states and four Canadian provinces, plus Great Britain. The Moose organization contributes between $75 to $100 million worth of community service (counting monetary donations, volunteer hours worked and miles driven) annually.

Moose International with support of their lodges and members operates Mooseheart Child City & School. Mooseheart is a 1,000 acre community serving children and teens in need. Mooseheart is located in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. Moose International also operates Moosehaven, a retirement community in Jacksonville, Florida. Moose Lodges and Chapters also donate approximately 75 million dollars worth of Community Service (counting monetary donations and hours worked) annually.
