Yeah, so weather.com sucks, and a friend just pointed out to me that there's a weather.gov website which is more accurate and isn't full of ads. Tax dollars at work. weather.gov MMrPing1000

Damn, that website looks like it came from 1998. But I hate those weather.com ads with those stupid computer animated people dancing about refinancing their house or getting a degree. CCaptain Glanton

The best source for this is if you're lucky enough to get the Weather Channel-knock off channel, where they just run the five day forecast and current conditions crawls over and over. There's nothing worse than turning on the Weather Channel to see if there's a storm coming and getting a show about the History of Tornadoes. Ppapelnabangka

Though I will admit to watching a special the other day covering the Challenger accident due to the cold weather. P

I switched to weather.gov permanently after the attempt to put through the National Weather Service Duties Act of 2005 a few years ago. http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/story?id=773123&page=1Dice

If it's not private or for national security there is no reason government information should be freely accessed by the public. D
