Welcome to the Well-Traveled page of the official IGN Wiki Guide and Walkthrough for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Here, we’ll break down everything you need to know about Well-Traveled, including where to find the Well of Urdr and how unseal it so that you may gather water from it.

This quest is the second of the Asgard saga and as such, it takes place in Asgard. The first objective is to reach the Well of Urdr. It’s a marked location on the map, as you can see in our screenshot below.

Head inside to the well and when you reach a beam of light, interact with it to move it into the circular object in front of it. This will allow you to progress forward. Continue deeper into this cave, following the teal aura that flows through it. Keep an eye out for some wealth when you see a tree with blue flowers. Above it is a chest with some Wealth inside. Eventually, Tyr will stumble upon you in the well. After a cutscene with him, continue heading deeper into the well.You’ll eventually reach a puzzle room that involves moving beams of light into place.

How to Solve the Asgard Well Light Puzzle

The solution is: the first beam of light needs to hit the large “eye” at the other end of the room, hanging near the entrance. The light will split to the contraption on the upper-right corner in the screenshot below. Use that light to aim at the contraption closest to it near the well. Then, go to the contraption in the upper-left side of the screenshot below and point it at the movable contraption near the well.

The movable contraption needs to move in such a way that it hits the only contraption that doesn’t yet have light touching it. This will open the well.

Now that the well is open, dive down and interact with the fountain at the objective marker. After a cutscene, you’ll need to exit. Dive into the well and swim down to see the exit you need to take. Swim back up to the surface and then go talk to Loki, who should be nearby. This will complete this quest.
